Responsibilities

  • Own a camera that meets real estate photography standards

  • Own a wide angle lens

  • Own a sturdy tripod and geared head

  • We have an online scheduling system so photographer’s schedule needs to be updated as we assign jobs based on availability and location

  • All images will need to be selected and uploaded the same day as the shoot so our editors can work on the photos immediately. We have a two day turnaround

  • Must be on time for all shoots

Description

  • Photographer with a sense of responsibility and ownership to make sure that we capture all the angles that the client wants

  • Interest in real estate photography and eye for design

  • Flexible schedule— in some situations shoots could be postponed the day before if the home isn’t ready. It is the nature of our business

  • Shoots take usually 2-4 hours depending on the number of services. We try to allocate shoots based on a photographer’s location.

Process

  • Meet with Lauren and see fit

  • Train with Lauren/team 8-10 shoots. First 4 shoots will be watching and learning from Lauren, latter shoots will be practicing shooting on site (paid training)

  • First shoots will be simple shoots copying existing angles or smaller houses

  • After passing the first 10 shoots with well execution photographer can be sent to shoot all homes.

Payment

  • https://www.engel-studios.com/pricing We give our photographers 30% of the shoot + $30 (for selecting and uploading same day). We handle all the backend from emails with clients, scheduling, photo retouching. Photographer is just in charge of capturing the angles on site and delivering. Also, the more services a photographer can do the higher amount of take home per shoot (drone, floorplan, siteplan, twilight, etc). Payment is weekly.
