POLICIES
Please note that all of these policies are part of our terms and conditions, which you must agree to before booking an appointment.
CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING
If you cancel or reschedule your appointment within 6 hours of your scheduled time, a fee of $150 will be charged. If you reschedule while our photographer is on-site, a fee equal to 50% of your order total will be charged.
We genuinely value your understanding, as arranging last-minute shoot reschedules can be strenuous due to scheduling constraints. These policies are in place to ensure a smooth process for everyone involved. We kindly ask that you please inform us of any changes as soon as possible, as this allows us to provide the best possible assistance tailored to your needs. Your cooperation and understanding is greatly appreciated!
If we are unable to shoot your property due to rain, we will reschedule you at no additional cost. In such cases, please ensure that we are notified at least 6 hours prior to your shoot.
TRAVEL FEE

For travel destinations outside of our service area, please confirm your appointment 48 hours prior to your shoot, failure to do so will result in additional fees.
PROPERTY ACCESS
By booking an appointment, you are confirming that you have the authority to give us access to the property and that you have given proper notice to tenants.
PERSONAL ITEMS
The property should be photo-ready when our photographer arrives. We do not move any furniture or personal items left in the home.
COPYRIGHT
All Photographs shall be the sole and exclusive property of the Photographer, including but not limited to all copyrights and other intellectual property rights therein, in perpetuity. All rights not expressly granted herein shall be reserved by the Photographer. Modification of Photographs and/or incorporation of Photographs in any layout, concept, reproduction, or publication shall not constitute a Joint Work. Photographer shall have the sole power to enforce its copyrights and any other intellectual property, including without limitation all registration, renewal, and reversion rights, and the right to register and sue to enforce such rights against infringers.
LICENSING
After receipt of the Final Payment, hereby grants to Client a non-exclusive, fully paid-up, and royalty-free right and license to use the Photographs/Videos, subject to the following conditions (the “Limited License”). All Photographs/Videos produced by Engel Studios are owned by Engel Studios and are protected by the United States Copyright Act.
Upon complete payment of all fees due from Client, Engel Studios will grant Client a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license. It is incumbent upon Client to inform any third party, e.g. contractors, interior designers or homeowners, that Photographs/Videos and videos can only be used by such third parties under licenses purchased from or granted directly by Agency. Client to contact the Agency if the next owner wants usage of the photos for Airbnb/rental purposes. If Client, or any other person or entity, wishes to make any additional uses of the Photographs/Videos not covered in this Agreement, Client or other person or entity shall obtain permission from the Agency and pay an additional fee to be agreed upon if necessary.
If a third party, such as stagers, wishes to license our photos of the property, they should contact us directly for rates.
SHOT SELECTION
Please arrange for the decision maker from your team to be at the shoot. Please be advised if the decision maker from your team is not present at the shoot, we will select all angles and will not be held responsible for any additional angle requests. We are happy to accommodate one free re-edit of the listing, after which time any additional edits will incur a fee. Please allow up to 24 hours for any re-edited or additionally requested photos to be delivered.
FLOOR PLANS
The primary purpose of our floor plan service is to give potential buyers a representation of layouts and general dimensions. Though our scans are approximately 95% accurate, the numbers may not exactly match public records as measured by an accredited architect.
DATA LOSS
In the unlikely event of file loss before content is delivered, we will refund you the amount you paid for the lost content.
REFUNDS
Payment is due no later than 1 week after photo delivery.
Due to the nature of digital photography and the fact that photographs, once sent, cannot be returned; Engel Studios has a strict NO REFUNDS POLICY. Once a transaction has been completed (i.e., the shoot has occurred and photos have been delivered) it is then considered non-refundable.
Refunds will NOT be given due to not liking the photos.
