Engel Studios is a multi-media agency with over a decade of experience. We are a female-owned business serving realtors with the top brokerages in Los Angeles. We pride ourselves in natural, elevated, and sophisticated imagery. Our work has been featured in major publications such as Architectural Digest, Dwell, The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Variety Magazine, and Yahoo.

FOUNDER
Growing up in Hong Kong, Lauren Engel developed an interest in capturing architectural and interior environments, surrounded by neomodern environments and futuristic forms, and now focuses on that genre.
She also has a background in digital marketing and uses this better to understand realtors’ branding and the scope of listing projects and assist in growth. She has wide-ranging experience at major companies, which includes managing Disney’s app, spearheading marketing and SEO campaigns for Hulu, National Geographic, and the Oscars, leading organic traffic for HYPEBEAST while collaborating on an international scale, and analyzing digital campaigns for Comcast NBCUniversal.
Engel holds a Business Administration and International Affairs Bachelor's degree from Northeastern University in Boston.

Introducing Taryn, a seasoned photographer whose passion for the craft was sparked in her early years when she received her first camera as a child. However, it was during her college years, while immersed in the captivating world of the darkroom, that Taryn truly fell head over heels for photography.
With an impressive 25 years of experience in the film and photography industry, Taryn's journey began as an assistant cinematographer, capturing behind-the-scenes moments on film sets. It was this hands-on experience that honed her skills and deepened her love for the art form.
Transitioning into real estate photography, Taryn found herself drawn to the exhilarating blend of travel and fast-paced work that the industry offered. She thrives on the diversity of styles and architecture she encounters, finding inspiration in each unique home she photographs.
With an eye for detail and a passion for storytelling, Taryn approaches each shoot with enthusiasm and dedication. Through her lens, she not only captures stunning images but also preserves the essence and character of every space she photographs.

Meet Tara, a talented photographer whose journey into the world of visual storytelling began at the esteemed VCU School of the Arts, where she studied film photography. With a penchant for capturing the raw beauty of humanity through portraits and documentary-style photography, Tara's work has garnered recognition in prestigious magazines like Grid and Sports Backers Quarterly.
Inspired by her family's legacy as nature photographers in the rugged wilderness of Alaska, Tara's artistic vision is imbued with a deep appreciation for the natural world. Their influence has shaped her unique perspective, infusing her work with an authentic connection to the environment.
When she's not behind the lens for Engel Studios, Tara finds solace in the outdoors, basking in the warmth of the sun, and immersing herself in the tranquility of swimming. And of course, she's never far from the companionship of her beloved canine friends, who often accompany her on her adventures, adding an extra layer of joy to her life.

Meet Yoyo, a creative soul whose journey into the world of photography took an unexpected turn from her original path as a fashion design major in college. After four years of exploration, Yoyo discovered her passion for capturing moments through the lens, and she hasn't looked back since.
Driven by the love and appreciation she received from her clients for her photographic work, Yoyo made the bold decision to embark on a career as a photographer. With each click of her camera, she brings her unique vision to life, infusing her images with style, personality, and a touch of whimsy.
Beyond her talent behind the lens, Yoyo is also a devoted cat mom and seasonal foster mom, finding joy in caring for furry friends in need. Her phone lock screen is a testament to her love for her feline companion, Ozzy, whose yawning picture captures hearts wherever it's seen.
Yoyo's adventurous spirit extends beyond photography and pet care; she's an avid traveler who delights in exploring different cultures and cuisines. Sushi holds a special place in her heart as her favorite food, but she's always eager to try new dishes wherever her travels take her.

In 2015, Sarah took her passion for photography to the next level by graduating from the prestigious Academy of Art in San Francisco with a degree in Photography. With her roots firmly planted in the real estate industry and armed with a formal education in photography, Sarah is well-equipped to blend her two passions seamlessly. Ivonne is a multidisciplinary designer and art director from Mexico. Bringing over 9 years of experience delivering narratives. Her passions include constructing visual journeys revolving around fashion, art, and architecture. Her experience and love for this work are what allow her to excel as the conceptual visual mind behind Engel Studio’s social media prescense.
